The onX Offroad App and Web Map are interactive, meaning you can tap or click almost any feature on your map to learn more about it.

Reading your map in the onX Offroad App
Tap any location on the main map to display the info card and learn more about any map feature. The green dot shows the location you tapped.
Swipe up inside the info card to view more details.
Swipe left on the bottom row of buttons to see the actions you can take, such as:
- Build a Route to the location. Click here to learn more about building Routes that snap to roads and trails.
- Navigate to the location you tapped using your phone or tablet's default navigation app. Click here to learn more about using the Navigation feature.
- Add a regular Waypoint at the location you tapped.
- Add a photo Waypoint at the location you tapped.
- Share the location with another onX Offroad user to help you coordinate.
- Add a Trail Report. Click here to learn more about submitting Trail Reports.
- Report an error on the map. Click here to learn how to report map errors.
Reading your map in the onX Offroad Web Map
Click any location on the main map to display the info card. The grey teardrop icon shows the location you clicked.
Scroll down in the info card to view more details.
Use the buttons at the bottom of the info card to:
