Slope angles have a resolution of 3 - 10 meters.
Use Slope Angles to navigate while avoiding risky or steep areas. Avalanches occur most frequently on slopes steeper than 35°. Click here to learn about Avalanche Forecasts.

Switch to Snow Mode to view Avalanche Forecasts. Click here for instructions on how to switch to Snow Mode.
Tap the slider on the Slope Angle layer in the Activities menu.
To see Slope Angles more clearly, switch to the Topo Basemap. Click here to learn more about using Basemaps in onX Offroad.
- Green - flatter than 25°
- Yellow - 25° to 30°
- Orange - 30° to 35°
- Red - 35° to 40°
- Purple - 40° to 45°
- Blue - steeper than 45°
