*NOTE: The onX Offroad App exports Markups in GPX Files. If you need to export your Markups as a KML file, please use the onX Offroad Web Map.
Exporting Markups is a great way to share a large number of Markups at once, and can also be used to back up your data. Before backing up your Markups, there are a few things to be aware of:
- Only the location and name of the Markup will be saved. onX customizations like icons and colors are not saved.
- Tracks exported as KML files will be converted into Lines. We recommend you Export Tracks as GPX files.
- Lines and Areas exported as GPX files will be converted into Tracks. We recommend you export Lines and Areas as KML files. Exporting KML files is not available in the onX Hunt App, so if you need to export Lines and Areas, please use the onX Offroad Web Map on your computer.
Tap the My Content button at the bottom of the screen.
Select the Markup Folder you want to Export.
Swipe left on the bottom row of buttons.
Tap "Export."
You can also export individual Markups by tapping the three dots next to the Markup in the My Content Menu, then tap "Export."
A menu of Apps will appear on the screen. The easiest way to send the exported file to yourself is by email.
