Use your phone or computer to plan your ride, and take your maps with you on the trail using Android Auto. All your map Waypoints and Tracks will automatically sync between your computer, phone, tablet, and in-dash screen. Click here to learn more about Waypoints and Tracks in onX Offroad.
onX Offroad supports Offline Maps on Android Auto for when you are off the grid. Before you leave cell service, make sure you have downloaded the areas where you will be off-roading on your mobile device. Using onX Offroad with Android Auto, you can currently view the map in Trail Mode, see your Waypoints, and change Basemaps. More features coming soon!

Setting up onX Offroad with Android Auto
- Download the onX Offroad App on your Android device. Click here for instructions on how to download onX Offroad. If you already downloaded onX Offroad, make sure you have the latest version installed. Click here for instructions on how to update the onX Offroad App.
- Plug your Android device into your in-dash unit.
- Tap the Android Auto icon on your in-dash unit, then tap the onX Offroad icon.

Android Auto Map Controls
Zooming in and out:
Tap the button in the upper right corner with plus and minus signs.
Tap the plus sign to zoom in, tap the minus sign to zoom out.
Tap the Back button to return to the main screen.
Moving the map:
Tap the button in the upper right corner with four triangles pointing in different directions.
Tap the left arrow to move the map west, tap the right arrow to move the map east.
Tap the button in the upper right corner with four triangles again to move the map north or south.
Tap the up arrow to move the map north, tap the down arrow to move the map south.
Tap the button in the upper right corner with four triangles again to recenter the map.
Tap the Recenter button to move the map back to your current physical location.
Changing Basemaps in Android Auto
Tap the button in the upper right corner with a gear icon.
Tap a Basemap in the menu. Android Auto 3D Basemaps are only available for onX Offroad Elite Members, and when your Android Auto turned to perspective mode.
