Use the Go & Track feature to record your ride, follow a route, and share where you've been with other onX Offroad users.
Tracks are saved to the My Content menu and log the time, distance, average speed, and elevation gain/loss for your ride.
Start Recording a Track
Tap the Go & Track button in the bottom-right corner of the map. This centers the map on your current location and orients it in the direction you're facing.
Tap the "Record Track" button to begin recording your path, time, distance, and speed.
During your Ride
View your current speed, elapsed time, distance traveled, and current elevation from the Go & Track Menu while you're actively recording your ride.
Select your preferred view or mark your map by tapping the related button in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.

Top down: Shows a bird's eye view with a fixed heading (map rotates as you move).

Perspective: Tilts the map to see further ahead.

North-Up: Locks your map into a north-up orientation.

Mark Location: Instantly saves a Waypoint at your current location.
Use the +/- symbols to zoom in or out.
Pausing and Saving Tracks
To pause or save a Track, tap the Pause button.
- Tap Resume if you'd like to continue recording your ride.
- Tap End > Save to save the Track to your My Content Menu.
- Tap End > Delete to permanently delete the Track.
If you left the Tracker running too long or started it too early, you can trim unwanted sections by editing the Track after it's saved.

Note: Tracks deleted before being saved can't be restored.
If the Tracker isn’t working as expected, you may need to give onX Offroad access to your device's location services. Choose your device to troubleshoot:
