If you need to center the map on your current location or orient it in the direction you're facing, use the Location button in the lower-right corner of the onX Offroad App map screen. Tapping it cycles through three modes.

Location button modes
First tap: centers the map on your current physical location.
Second tap: rotates the map to face the direction you're heading and displays a compass in the upper-right corner. A blue sight cone appears in front of your location dot, showing the direction you're facing. The map will follow you as you move.
Third tap: returns the map to north-up orientation and removes the compass indicator.
Tip: Adjusting your viewing area will "unlock" the App from following your movement—tap the location button again to re-center and lock it on your current location.
