Changing Map Modes (Dirt Mode and Snow Mode)

Use the Filters Menu to switch between Dirt Mode and Snow Mode in the onX Offroad App and choose which trails and routes are displayed with a colored overlay on your map. 

Use Dirt Mode to view single-track dirtbike trails, 50 – 60" trails suitable for SxS/UTVs, high-clearance 4x4 trails, or full-width roads, and use Snow Mode to view snowmobile trails and SNOTEL sites. 

How to change Map Modes in the onX Offroad App

  1. Tap the Filters button in the lower-left corner of the main map.

  2. Tap the Snow Mode button at the top of the Activities menu to switch to Snow Mode.

  3. Tap the Dirt Mode button to switch back to Dirt Mode.
