Slope angles have a resolution of 3 - 10 meters.
Use Slope Angles to navigate while avoiding risky or steep areas. Avalanches occur most frequently on slopes steeper than 35°. Click here to learn about Avalanche Forecasts.
Slope Angles and Aspect in onX Offroad
To turn on the Slope Angle or Slope Aspect Map Layers, open the Layers menu and tap "More Options."
Tap "More Details" and scroll down until you find these layers in the Snow layer category, and tap one to turn it on or off.

- Green - flatter than 25°
- Yellow - 25° to 30°
- Orange - 30° to 35°
- Red - 35° to 40°
- Purple - 40° to 45°
- Blue - steeper than 45°
