Troubleshooting connection issues
If you can't connect onX Offroad on your phone with onX Offroad on your in-dash unit, follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
- If you're using Bluetooth to connect, use a USB cord instead.
- If you're connected via a USB cord, unplug the cord and plug it back in to reset the connection.
- If it's still not working, try a different USB cord.
Troubleshooting issues with Layers or Markups not displaying
First, make sure your version of the onX Offroad App is up-to-date. Click here for instructions on updating the onX Offroad App.
If your Layers or Markups are still not displaying, unplug your mobile device from your in-dash unit and plug it back in, then turn your vehicle off and restart it.
Troubleshooting issues with Offline Maps
Make sure to download your Offline Maps before you leave cell service.
If your Offline Maps are not displaying on your in-dash unit, make sure your mobile device is in airplane mode. Please be aware that in airplane mode you will not be able to make or receive texts and phone calls or connect to the internet.
