If you've purchased an onX Offroad Membership but the App is showing upgrade prompts, displaying "Basic user" in the Main Menu, or certain features aren't working as expected, this article covers the most common causes and how to fix them.
You're logged in with the wrong email address
The most common cause of Membership access issues is being logged in with a different email address than the one your purchase is attached to. Tap the Main Menu button in the upper-left corner—your Membership level is displayed near the top. If it shows Basic user, log out and log back in with the email address you used when you purchased your Membership.
It doesn't have to be an obvious email—we've seen users enter their email with a typo, forget they used a family member's email, use an old work or school address, or have a friend change the account email after borrowing their login.
You purchased a Membership for the wrong onX product
onX has four separate Apps—Hunt, Offroad, Backcountry, and Fish—each with their own Membership. Purchasing a Membership for one product doesn't provide access to any of the others.
Your payment was declined
If the card on file expired or was reported lost or stolen, your Membership may have lapsed due to a failed payment. Learn how to update your payment method.
Your App needs to be updated
Some paid features may not work correctly if the App hasn't been updated recently. Use your phone's camera to scan the QR code below, or tap the link if you're reading this on your mobile device.

A specific feature isn't visible or available
Map Layers, Guided Trails, and other paid content won't appear unless they're turned on. If you can access most features but one specific item isn't showing up, check whether it needs to be enabled in the Layers menu. If it's still not available, it may not be included in your Membership level.
You were charged more than once
There are two possible explanations for multiple charges: you purchased more than one Membership without realizing it, or your initial payment was declined and has since been re-attempted.
